Reel Timer Privacy Notice

Reel Timer is a private scheduling tool operated by Van Praet Excursions in Lucerne, Switzerland. It lets the operator connect selected Instagram professional accounts, upload finished video files, add captions and choose publishing times.
Information processed
Reel Timer processes the connected Instagram username and account identifiers, access tokens granted through Meta, selected video files, captions, scheduled publishing times, and technical status or error information needed to operate the service.
Instagram connection
Only professional Instagram accounts that the operator explicitly connects are used. Access can be revoked at any time in Meta settings.
Selected content
Video files, captions and publishing schedules are used only to prepare and publish the posts chosen by the operator.
Technical data
Publishing status and error information are recorded so failed jobs can be diagnosed and the queue can be managed safely.
Storage and sharing
Videos and queue data are stored in the operator’s private Google Drive and Google Apps Script account. Account information and publishing requests are sent to Meta only to provide the requested Instagram connection and publishing functions. A temporary unlisted download link may be created while Meta retrieves a selected video; access is removed after processing. Data is not sold.
Retention and security
Credentials and queue data are restricted to the operator’s Google account. Scheduled items and technical records are kept only as long as needed to run and troubleshoot the service. Uploaded files can be removed by the operator.
Your choices and data deletion
Disconnect the app in Meta settings to stop future Instagram access. To request deletion of connected-account data, queue records or uploaded files, email info@vpexcursions.ch with “Reel Timer data deletion” in the subject. Requests are handled within 30 days, subject to legal retention duties.
